Banoffee Cake #TheCakeSliceBakers


It’s reveal day for the Cake Slice Bakers! I chose to bake the Banoffee Cake. I had never heard of this cake before, ever. 


The cake layers are made with finely chopped pecans. Each layer is layered with Dulce de Leche, fresh sliced bananas, fresh whipped cream, and a dusting of cocoa powder.


This cake was out of this world delicious! It was worth every single calorie! My whole family enjoyed it, and agreed this recipe is a keeper. 


I can’t wait to have the chance to make this recipe again. Absolutely delicious!

This cake looks delicious, Anabel! I really want to make this cake now - I've never seen a recipe that uses fresh bananas and the dulce de leche sounds tasty as well!

I seriously thought about making the Banoffee cake, but changed my mind at the last minute because I have made one before. However, I think I may have made a bad decision because after seeing how beautiful yours turned out, I realize that the recipe I had is no match for this one. I'm going to have to make it soon.
